Beyond is an American drama television series created by Adam Nussdorf about a man who is in possession of supernatural powers after waking up from a coma. ABC Family Worldwide green-lit a pilot in April 2015,ordered production in November 2015, and produced a ten-episode season between April and November 2016. The series is set to premiere January 2, 2017, with the first two episodes airing together on Freeform, and all ten episodes available for streaming (Freeform app, Freeform.com, On Demand, and Hulu).

Holden Matthews (Burkely Duffield) wakes from a 12-year coma and discovers new abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. Now that he is out of his coma, Holden must figure out what happened to him during the past dozen years and how to survive in the world that has changed significantly while he was in his coma. But perhaps the biggest question of all is why it happened to him. As Holden tries to adjust to adulthood—all he remembers is being a child—mysterious Willia warns him not to trust the people around him.
