Imperium is an American thriller film, written and directed by Daniel Ragussis, from a story by Michael German. An FBI agent, Nate Foster (Radcliffe), goes undercover to find leads on some illegally imported caesium-137 and its relationship with active white-supremacist groups. Nate gets involved with several active groups through Agent Zamparo's inside man. He immerses in the culture and draws out connections to a possible bomb blast planned by some white supremacist fanatics. He starts with working with Vince Sargent, but then meets Andrew Blackwell and Gerry Conway. Meanwhile he also gets to know Dallas Wolf. Nate manages to infiltrate Andrew's facility and learns about supposed plans for a terror attack. He also tries to get information from Dallas Wolf in exchange for funding. Meanwhile he grows close to Gerry and his family.

Vince and his gang turn out to be petty criminals. Dallas Wolf, it turns out, is nothing but an entertainer who only pretends to be a white supremacist. And Andrew, Nate's most promising lead, is simply delusional about implementing any sort of attack. Disappointed that his time lead to nothing, Nate goes to say farewell to Gerry. Gerry senses Nate's genuine feeling of uselessness and shares with Nate his plan to detonate a dirty bomb.
